actually, out behind a church. The chuch was built in 1920s,old red brick church. Found a small park with a big fountain in a lot behind the church. Found someone in the church office and asked for permission to hunt a bit on the lot and got an ok. I found the fountain full of dirt,so I said hmmm...folks like to throw coins in fountains so I crawled over into the fountain (its very big) and started to work. Was disappointed, only found two wheaties and 7 zinkers. Got my hopes up when I found the wheaties cause I knew silver and even war nickels were possible. I cleaned that sucker out tho, lol. It had concrete walls and no bottom, just dirt. Found the pipe that delivered the water to the middle fountain part. Found nails, screws and four railroad spikes, aluminum, tabs lol. It was cold but I enjoyed the day for a few hours. If I get time, Im gonna hit that lot again, theres an old tennis court on it also. Then the church yard.
Stay warm,
John
