I tried something new on the Explorer, my set up was Ironmask -16 and ferrous sounds.
I was almost always with a low tone with iron and then would get a high with it I only dug maybe 5 nails but the nickels sure sounded off good dimes were a little scratchey and cents were almost normal tone I also dug a few screw caps and a few tabs all I can say is almost every dig was a coin and not many made it to top left of screen.
totals were 8 mems, 1 wheat, 10 dimes, 5 nickels, 3 quarters
I have really pounded this park with other units and I know there is more silver just have to pass the coil over it.

I tried your settings and found the constant noise from the iron to be irritating so what I did was back it off a little to -15. It canceled the iron noise and was much easier to listen to. I'm going out this afternoon to do some searching and will use your idea. It looks like your onto something. Thanks for the tip.
