I hit a couple older parks this morning but didn't get much - 1 wheat and some clad. Cutting a plug is out of the question as the ground is totally dry & hard. Even tho they water the grass in the parks it's no easy task digging. We are to hit 100 this weeklend :(
I sure got spoiled by that Michigan soft ground ! Steve in so az

actually, we're pretty dry. Anything we get now goes right into the ground. Still a lot of wet spots and some snow on the highest hills where the ski tows are.

going from the low 70's to the 50's! Rain is in the next ten days forecast!

No rain there, lots of rain here. Calling for rain next 10 days..........
Time for some research :)
What a hobbie, I love it!!!!
God bless

Plenty of rain here, Steve, ground very soggy and too wet to mow my growing grass! :( Congrats on all your finds at the forum hunt and at home! Maybe surface hunting is about all a person can do in hot, dry weather or beach and water hunting, where getting wet is nice! :D

God Bless!

that sandy soil is really nice. It extends down into Ohio and ends about 20 miles from where I live. In the hot summer months here when the clay is like concrete that stuff is still soft enough to dig in. My friend Greg found a beaver tail pull tab at an honest 7" deep in that stuff with his Explorer. Keep at though.
