Went Swimming and found gold

Any markings on the ring? Have you weighed it?

Does the bracelet have any stamps on it?

Nice one Kevin, looks like James Avery. I have recovered some silver ones like that, but never got a gold one, congrats. If you look inside the band, you SHOULD see "JA" 14K, or something along those lines.

Yes, there were markings on the ring. Took forever to find the 14k. The markings were so small, but thanks to you G.H., I did see the JA. The markings are in a three row with what appears to be iii on the top row, JA on the second row, and 14k on the third row. I do not have a scale to weigh it but it is a small size ring. The bracelet I thought was silver, but when I cleaned it you can see were it has worn down where the links touch. There was a tag on it that had WGB, so I assume it is white gold bonded. Something else I found out when cleaned, the rifle cartridge was not a .30 carbine as suspected but instead a 351 sl which was for a Winchester 1907 auto loader.

Glad it turned out to be James Avery, I suspected it was. That iii is a crown, their trademark design insignia. You can go to their website and look at their stuff. Home based here in Texas too. I did not have too good of a feeling about the chain, but did not want to hurt your feelings. Figured you would eventually figure it out.
