Went relic hunting on Tuesday

But I did have a chance to hunt for about 7 hours. Now while I'm still learning the CoRe, I really like it. I had a chance to use the larger coil, after starting and ending the day with the Stock coil. And I'm impressed with the stock coil, in addition to the small one. Why you ask? Well the stock coil has great target separation...if (once you HEAR a target)...you slow down and...listen.

I have more to share when I get home, but here are pictures of the "goodies" and the "trickies". The large screw and bent iron were tricky for me to decipher. And I wanted to show these as well, in hopes that someone can learn from my post.

And the "trickies"

After trying 2 different open fields (one a cow pasture and the other a soybean field with stubble from last year), I found the first bullet in the pasture with the stock coil. It rang a solid 85, no questions asked it was a good signal. 6 inches down or so.

Now I was "experimenting" with different settings between Di2 and Di3. Now with this pasture and soybean field, I could only get a stability when sensitivity was dropped to around 70 or so, and ID MASK of around 23. Now my buddy told me to put on the big 13 x 15 and give it a try. BUT I will say this. The larger coil is not recommended in old soybean stubble, I will say that. Lol. I'll share more later about the "trickies" and what the large iron and the shell frags TID/vdi as...

Nice to see you are getting out, and some good finds it is still hit or miss on the weather up here but getting better.
