It's been 3 months since my back injury and decided today to go out coinshooting. Wore my back support and took my time getting up and down.............2 hours and 45 minutes worth.......
Took my mod'd Cibola with the added Ground Balance control. Was really easy to get it to ground balance in our Georgia red clay soil.
There were a bunch of hot rocks, tuned them so they just broke up the audio. And was able to switch to all metal and check them. When checked in all metal mode the hot rocks would null out. The Cibola worked excellent with the 5.75 coil, easily separate the coins from the trash next to them. The Cibola was tuned so you could hear clicks and pops similar to the Tejon. I like the way it turned out.
The ground was a little softer today, since it rained for two days. Some spots still hard.
I found a handful of coins, didn't think there would be to much lost at this school, it's only a few years old.
As you can see, the Cibola is pretty sensitive to small pcs. of silver, check out the small cross.
Anyways, when I got home popped a Naproxen as a safety measure for my back. We'll see how it feels on Monday.
