Went out today detecting and almost did better than yesterday

Though I did score an Indian Head (1883) yesterday along with a dime and 4 Mem pennies today I headed for a local old park. This one, according to a history book of the area, once was a cemetary - all the coffins had been exhumed and transplanted elsewhere I guess since there are no head stones.

Hunted here last year and found a horseshoe buried under a brick roadway covered by grass.

Had a few eyeball finds - a RR spike and a tablespoon. This pic shows the markings on the head of the spike:

Steve do you know anything about HC and that combo SD? I'm thinking it might be Huron Clinton (both are counties in this state).

This pic shows the finds for today (coin-wise there are more than I got at the hunt but didn't score another Indian.)

The coin that is to the bottom left of the RR spike is this nice find -
a 1918 Wheatie (back side is too covered to see anything)

So God blessed me again (thank you Father) with not only these finds but also the Mallard duck and his lady waddling nearby:

He also blessed me to be able to watch several groundhogs playing in the sun (didn't get any pics - wanted to get out of the sun myself).
