Well took the my 2 boys with me out to the old girl scout camp. Started in off the road and came across the old outhouse now barely standing. Figured this had to be where they staked the tents and camp somewhere out here. So we started it looking for a clearing as it is really overgrown and forested now. As we seen the growth height of the trees in a flat area compared to the surrounding we set out lookin. Whats the first thing we find?? Left in the ground Tent stakes!!! Right where that was we found 2 pennies in the same hole and started finding a ton of foil like what ya wrap food in to cook on a camp fire.
We searched this area for about 2 hours and found a total of 5 pennies and boatloads off foil. We also found pulltabs, shotgun shells, a old artesian well haha. Really weird seeing a well in the middle of a forest.
So our take was 5 pennies two are wheat pennies 1935 and a 1951 D. Another was a Canadian 1970 and 2 regular 1980 ones and rest just trash stuff
