Went out Thursday - Rough digging!!

Went out to my favorite trap rock area. Tough digging in spots where the trees are gone. I had to chip a few holes. That hurts. Along with about 5 miles of walking, makes my wife question my sanity. Took long enough:rofl:. Found a couple of nice things though. The 1898 5 cent Canadian was a surprise. Missing from pictures are a couple of Indians 1899, 1901, that are in the process of being cleaned. The other object near the 5 cent piece looked like a glass top button, at first glance, but turning it over found a camera like working. It is probably a microscope or camera lens. Those bat wing pieces seem to move and cover the center piece taper. I'm assuming it limits the light that can enter the opening. If anyone has any ideas on it, that would help. Not bad for an 8 hour hunt, although my arm and back would argue that point. HH
