Found three pennies, a 62, 83, and a 85. Found two dimes and a 1990 nickel about 6" deep. All in the front yard at my mom's house.

First nickel find. I was glad I dug it instead of skipping it. It did register strong and pointed to nickel.

Very nice Vess. I dig everything, I do dig a lot of junk but have found a lot of good stuff to.

At some sites I dig every signal, including iron. At other sites, it took me a while to learn to dig every signal that hits as nickle and up once you hit 6" in depth or deeper. Once you get deeper than 6" the target ID gets a little shakey. Last sunday I dug my first Mercury dime at 10", and am glad I dug what showed to be a nickle at 8".
