Another hunt after work until dark. I hit a high school that I never have tried before. The sports field got some coins, but the grass on property beside the school was full of coins and this beautiful sterling silver bracelet, which came in at a whopping 66.6 grams/2.345 oz. Also found a pair :usaflag: + :canadaflag: fraternal twin (non-identical) twin pennies from 1951.

What are the chances of that...... :)

Here's a close-up of the silver chain on my scale. And of course....the fraternal pennies.

Our weather is great! it's been hovering about 5 degrees above freezing during the day, but fall a bit below freezing over night. The last couple of mornings I had to scrape the ice off my windows so that I could see. The ski hill nearby has about a foot of snow built up from the artificial snow making machine. I may even get in a water hunt in yet this year. The ground is very dry and hard. On the plus side, the deep coins in the ground must getting a buildup of frost on them, as they are very sensitive to the Garretts right now. The year ain't over until its over. :) But then again, the year is never over....just the hunting technique.

BRRRRRR! Sounds cold to me. My old bones don't handle the cold as well as they used to. Do you have a damp cold or dry cold? Dry ain't to bad but the damp cold here just penetrates to the bone plus we get a lot of wind. Supposed to be windy the next couple of days - 35 MPH plus.

Nice finds John. At silver price that's over $30.
