Went Out Detecting A Couple Days Ago ... :detecting:

A neighbor called asking if I'd like to go to a local inland lake and detect the beach while she laid in the sun. "Let's Go!", I said. Didn't find much but some trash, 2 zink pennies and of all things a business calculator buried about 8" deep. What on earth was someone doing with a calculator at the beach? Fun getting out just the same. Happy hunting everyone! :)

They probably had the calculator counting all the coins they had buried at about a foot below the calculator. Just out of reach from your Detector. Lol

Hey 7C,
The thought occurred to me that, when they made that beach, they dug down a couple feet and doug out all the top soil and filled it with sand. The calculator was likely being used by one of the contractors and he forgot and left it laying on the dirt before the sand fill came in. Just a thought.
