Stopped on the way home from work and went penny popping. In amongst all those pennies were three silver coins. People who disc out pennies on their machines make my day

Hmmmm, I sometimes disc out pennies because I have no trouble at all identifying silver with my ACE. Even in amongst many cents I can tell if it is a silver coin by the icon indicated and the tone. So, I don't quite get your meaning?:look: Jim

Well, not all silver coins will read exactly in the silver icon at all times, due to soil matrix and am't & type of oxidation on the coin. The ID on the screen is only a probability, ans isn't accurate 100% of the time. By eliminating the pennies, you probably lose some of the silver too! These are my results from basically penny-popping, and yet a couple of silvers fell though the cracks.

WTG JOHN !
