I stopped at a couple garage sales close to home. look what i picked up for two bucks!!!
Neat little rock tumbler, perfect for doing a handful of stuff at a time. I won't have to listen to "washing machine Charlie", my old Thumbler tumbler all the time. What a great deal!!

This silver bracelet, 925 and HEAVY!! (wife grabbed it), for 50 cents!!!
Then I found a 3 speed mens Raleigh bicycle for ten bucks!! Also got an 8 piece set of ginzu steak knives, still in the box for two bucks!
Also a transparent desk phone, works fine. Total spent....$15.50
that got me the coin tumbler ($2.00)
The silver bracelet (50 cents)
The raleigh bicycle ($10.00)
a transparent phone, desk model ($1.00)
8 piece set of ginzu steak knives (new!!) $2.00

Did a little treasure hunting myself today. Friends of ours had to leave the island due to a permit problem and they were having a 'Leaving the Island Sale'. For $50 we got a nice snorkel set (mask, fins and snorkel) several books on Bermuda, a swiffer wet jet, beach chair, LED flashlight and two bags of other stuff. Our friends wanted to give us the stuff, as my wife helped them set up the sale but fair is fair.
Just goes to show you that treasure is there for those who know how to look for it. Really nice tumbler by the way, just the right size.

It's one of those new mop things with the cleaner built right into the handle. The princess had to have one but I kept balking at the $89 price tag for an aluminum handle with plastic mop head and disposable pads. I think they go for $39 back home which is still too much as far as I'm concerned. Leaving the Island Sale Special $10 and that includes the disposable pads.
Now if I could just pick up a "lear jet" like Max's at a yard sale for $10 that would be a real steal of a deal.:super:
Scored up a little 14k ticket this weekend as well so it was a good weekend for hunting all around.
