Went for another hunt with the Excal 800....

..and did not find gold. I am ok with that because I know it is out there, and just waiting for me to put my coil over it. Gulf Hunter and I went for a spin last night, hit two different areas of beach and I came up with $2.62 in clad, an aluminum Texas A&M (ClassBand 07) Ring, and half a bracelet. Did a bit of land hunting with the ACE250 as well, did not get much on the towel line this time.
Showed GH my ring that I found and he dropped it, but then he fetched it back to me as I was not going to go find it a second time. He told me later that he had to find it or he would not live it down, Thank you honey for finding my ring for me a second time. We had fun. My 12 yr old son came with us this time, and he enjoyed himself as well. Most likely gonna take another stab at that gold that is hiding from us tonight. HH

I agree that you just need to swing your coil over it. You have the right machine, you're digging all the right stuff, and you're putting in the time. Gold is COMING!
