Went for an appetizer spin today, silver shows again!

Went back for another solo spin with the Excal, to the last location where the silver was found, last hunt. Was in the wetsand at 645A out of a 602A 1.0H and into a 1258P 0.0L and NNE winds at 10-15. There was still nice shell exposures at this location. Have not been for a hunt, since 12-23 and was really hurting for a spin, so I took the morning off of work! This is a target rich environment and it obviously does not get much pressure. Clad round-up was fun! 40 pennies!! The prize is a men's .925 band, w/what appears to be shooting stars and the sun on it. It weighs in at 6.5G's and I was mighty glad to see it! OBTW, for those of you that don't dig bottle caps, it sounded a lot like a farty bottle cap, just an fyi! Eyeballed a couple of pieces of ferrous iron and picked them up to rid a future null later! I don't know where the gold is, but I'm putting in the time to find it! Hopefully the next 5 days straight! I'm gunna be a whipped pup, baled at 1245P and I did not want to quit yet, I'll be back!

Gulf Hunter, I know what you mean about those farty bottle cap tones. One of my last two silver rings sounded like that. You just have to dig it all. I have been surprised many a time. Hope you do well for your five day hunt. John
