Went for a solo spin today, but I was not alone.........

Ran the Aquasearch today in a clean surf area. Was in the water by 1030A into a 100P 0.0L, but the 5-10 NW winds had the surf pushed out to where I could wade waist deep to the 4th bar. Guess where I was???? Between the 3rd and 4th bar. There was a decent gut between them, but I've seen it much deeper.
I used the drysuit for the 1st time today and it's pretty nice. I think it will be a useful tool for me.
Spanky and Jbuff were aleady in the surf lane and getting after it when I arrived. Willia in Tex arrived soon after I got there and joined me in the mine. He was using Sov., as his Aquasearch is on a visit to Mr. bill for repairs. Anyway, ended up with $2.12 in clad, an unmarked stud w/cz and a nice 22"+ .925 necklace chain. Everyone else left and I stayed with it a little longer. It got a little slow, so I moved to a different surf area and gave it whirl around 330P.

Ended up with $.36 in clad here and it was considerably more sanded up than the previous location. Found another stud here and this 1 is marked .925. They sure are purty in the scoop! Bailed around 445P. Not bad fer a days work, but the gold was overboard! I don't think anyone else got any either. OH well, we had fun right?

I noticed something interesting in viewing your loot GH. You found glasses, studs and a chain all in one hunt. It is rare for me to find any of these items never mind all in one go. Do you think it is the differnce in the machines we are running?, our different hunting styles? or just the different beach conditions? I would hate to think that I am missing out on gold chains.

Nice Finds Pirate,

BDA:cool:
Excal 1000

I still find the glasses with the Excal bda. We're both primarily hunting in the mine, but gold chains are hard to target. Are there guts between the bars there in Bermuda? Either in the guts or over the bars is the sweet spot for me. I have piles of silver chains like that and there must be gold as well. You probably have studs there too, but they are gold or platinum. We don't get those Galveston way, too low rent, as it were. I am going to figure the chain deal out, but it may require digging all iffy signals. The units read each link or the clasp as opposed to the chain, savvy? Who cares anyway, yer finding honker bands right now, that's what we're looking for right? GH

Nice chain GH... from your post I thought you were going to say you had a little sharky come a calling lol..
