Was hunting the local park with my two ton Sov, came through again with sniffing out a 1961 silver 25cents.
Though what was a bit more interesting and quite sad, was the three legged German Shepherd that startled me while I was busy retrieving the loot.
It was quite a big dog that reminded me a bit of my old gsd, the owner came buy and we started to chit chat, she said that it was a Katrina rescue dog she adopted, but a few months ago it ran into a bus. This dog just came through the Katrina ordeal and now she was faced to decide it's fate.She of course decided to go with three legs and says it hardly slows the dog up much. I know I would not have had the funds for such an operation. Though looking at how happy the dog was I told her she made a good decision. oj
