Yesterday, weather was great,so I saddled up my M/C and rode to my sisters. On the way there;I came up behind a Cadillac with a pick-up in front of him, goin about 40 on a rural highway. The Caddy acted like he was gonna pass the truck;then pulled back in.I was thinking about passing them both, when my Motorcycle Safety Foundation training I took popped into my head:"Before you pass ANY vehicle;observe the driver of the vehicle you will be passing thru their rear window;to see if said driver has their mind on their driving".............I watched the guy thru the rear window,he was LOOKING DOWN AT SOMETHING IN HIS LAP,NOT at the road.Thats when I thought to myself "That nit-wit's gonna pull out to pass that truck without checking his mirrors"-And,that's EX-ACTLY what he did,a few seconds later. If I had'nt taken the time to re-visit my MSF training and pulled out to pass him;he woulda made his move about the time I was even with his front tire-And a good chance I woulda been killed:goodnight:.Thank you,LORD,for saving me once again;while riding my M/C.AMEN!!!!PS:Im puttin my M/C away for winter around Nov.1st-These close calls are un-nerving,to say the least.........................:(

Glad you are okay and you're still with us! Paying attention to the quickening of our memories and our surroundings sure do and will save us from the impending harm that would take us mortals out of this world! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for watching over Steve and all of us from time to time when we need extra protection! Amen! Ma Betty
