Went for a beach hunt with the tracker IV

Well first time at the beach with my new tracker IV .It did really well on dry sand silent no falsing. On wet sand it was falsing a bit but not much as soon as I turned down the sensitivity. This machine does pretty well all around. I hit a local beach . Funny on the way walking down to the beach I saw Angelina Jolie driving her car. No jewlry this time around and if there was the tracker woulda found it. But found 7.60 in change thats a best for me at this beach. I pretty much run my tracker IV all the time now because I like it so much instead of a few other detectors I have.

Good finds! Did you try raising the coil an inch or so in the wet? The salt signal fades quickly with distance and them maybe you can crank up the sens a bit higher. A smaller coil might help too since there's less sand beneath it.

Now wouldn't it be something to find some jewelry that Angie dropped on the beach? Returning that item to its owner would no doubt be memorable, if nothing else.

Thanks ill try the raising the coil next time i hit the beach. Jolie's jewlry would be nice. Of corse returning it to her in person would be nicer. Happy hunting
