Went dirt fishing today

I was able to go dirt fishing today, but I am in so much pain I can hardly handle it. It was worthwhile to me, tho. I found 29 coins. 22 pennies including a 1942 wheat penny and a 1963 penny were the oldest coins I found. 4 dimes, 1 nickel and I found 2 states quarters in the same hole. 1 penny was wrapped in a band-aid for some reason. If it wasn't for popping the shallow depth coins the way Uncle Willy showed me in his diagram, I could not have dug all the coins and pop tops today. I don't know what I would do with a 100 coin day like some of y'all
are digging sometimes. It's funny how the older pennies will make a nice tone, but the newer clad kind of pings. I guess it's the difference in the copper in the pennies. 1 nickel, a 2007 showed up on the imaging scale as an A target at 3.5. The older nickels show up as 4.5 or 5.5.
They were all clad and I only worked a small area and I hope to go back next week. First time in a few weeks I spent any time dirt fishing
and found something besides a lot of trash. I sure missed an opportunity last fall when they drew the water down for several months to find some jewelry, however. It will be another two years before they draw the water down at the lake again.
I dropped my digital camera on the couch after charging it and is broken. I don't know if it's cheaper to buy another compact digital camera or have this one repaired? HH

[size=large]the repair charges seem to be getting higher than the replacement cost. my bet is you cracked a board inside. did that with some wireless headset i just tossed onto the couch. live and lern.

Sorry to hear your hurting, Fongu. Was wondering where you have been. Glad you were able to get out and rack up some loot! Good Job!:clapping:

Sorry you are hurting fongu. As for fixing the camera, the cost is usually pretty high. Many companies will charge a high fee just to diagnose the problem, and then tell you how much it will cost to fix. Unless its a dslr or another expensive type of camera, I would just geta new one.

When I got about halfway into my 100 coin day, my back stopped hurting, my cramping right arm went away, the aching shoulder muscles lessened, I was able to stand up without pushing on my screwdriver, I didn't get dizzy AFTER standing up, my aching left heel went unnoticed, and my stomach muscles quit cramping. But, OH, that NITE!
