With the 11" standard coil this time, last time I was using the 6" coil
The 11" coil hit hard on this thing (I think its brass plate?) Dug it up at 10" easy.
It was folded over you can see the crease on it.
I unfolded it real easy like.
There is writing in the center circle or a photo.
The history of this area is the 2nd Dragoons manned a fort here during the Seminole Indian wars in Florida.
Is it a item from that era? You tell me?
The last 2 photo's are taken under a magnifying light.

Looks like a shield of some sort? Local Historical Society maybe have info?? Its very interesting.....
