went back again, this makes trip number 5, I have lost count on the wheaties from there, still no silver

I keep digging everything iffy, got these 2 wheats, the 1920 was about 6-7" deep, with a nail in the same hole. Very bouncy signal and the 1945 was in the same hole as a pull tab. Probably why I skipped em before. First harmonica reed I ever found, and one more dog tag.

Nice. I like the dog tags. I don't have many but they are cool to find. I have one cat tag too.

I am still looking for an old, DATED one.

Cool finds. Some of the older dog tags were brass and give a nice beep. When I tell someone I found a dogtag I usually get funny looks like Im robbing a pet cemetary and I have to explain that they were only a few inches deep and probably just discarded.
