We took our youngest back to college today for the start of his second year (6 hour round trip). We got home around 3 PM and I was out the door by 3:15. Last weekend I obtained permission to hunt an old property and walked away with a Large Cent Trifecta - Draped Bust, Coronet and Braided Hair. I was lamenting that we never seem to find silver as old as the coppers at these sites. Well...... I still didn't get really old silver, but I was happy to walk away with a Dime Trifecta - Barber, Mercury and Roosevelt!
I managed some Wheat Pennies and a few Flat Buttons. Will post later. Sorry for the poor pictures.
