Went back out there this morning and found an old plainer...:cam:

Drove by the development site this morning and no one was there so I decided to
do some more hunting.

I found part of an old kitchen stove. It had charred wood packed into it's crevices.
I believe there was a building there that burned up in the early 1900"s.

I have hunted several acres in the area and this is the only place I have found any
good stuff.

I believe the house was where I drew the white house in the areal photo.

I found an old plainer. When I preyed on it in the ground, it broke.

I am gluing the plainer together so I can hang it in my shop.

I found a TUF NUT button. I think it's brass and the shank has rusted away.

I found two things that look like little shields. One seems to be brass and
the other may be some kind of tin.

That's about it for this morning's hunt.

OH!! I for got. I thought I found a piece of anthracite coal. It's in the photo.

Know what it is???

It's hard rubber.

It's so old, it's starting to turn into oil.

hi td! you sure do have some old cool iron stuff there! i really like the old planer. i don't know what the shield pieces are, they're neat too. you know, i find a lot of stuff like that too. wtg, td. good hunt. hh,
