Having not so good luck in finding gold lately...but I suspect that will change with the warmer weather and bathers arriving..at least I hope so.

In the meanwhile , cooking will take up my time.

Those babies look great! I haven't found any up this way but did get a couple pounds of fiddleheads the last few weeks. I made a lot of people happy by giving them away (I ate a few myself too) In these expensive times it is a beautiful thing to find and enjoy what GOD has put out in the woods for us.

My uncle ended up in Intensive care with mushroom poisoning from picking and eating the wrong mushrooms ...almost died...be careful from where you pick those mushrooms .
