well just got the 4' coil for my deleon and tried on a small brook digging everything and well no gold but got every old iron nut and bolt from hunting camps and big door hinges, one door hinge using all metal mode dug down close to 8 to 10" i'm really impressed with the small coil, when i first got the signal it started kind of small and as i dug it got bigger, at first it registered coin 95 then back to 66 then back to 95 again i was hopeful but just the door hinge on endge, oh well we got another spot we will try next week!

The 4" coil is kind of a sleeper. Works better than one might think and is great in heavy trash and tight places. You're what I call myself - an equal opportunity hunter. If not coin shooting, relic hunting or prospecting will do as long as we're swinging LOL.

well just one of those things bill trying the next levels of detecting i know i don't have the best machine for prospecting but i'm positive something will come about i will be going to a actual place that nuggetts a re taken from so i can't wait and probably less trash as well

One thing about it, if you're swinging, you never know what may turn up. That's part of the fun of this hobby.
