We made it sefely to Moorehead, Ky. this evening. The trip was rather exciting yesterday.
We were just west of Kansas City and the car in front of me got cut off and ended up flipping 2 or 3 times before all was said and done. I stopped and ran up to the ladies car and opened her passengers door, (the car was on its roof) as soon as I open the door the lady is waiting to get out of the car. She says, "I'm ok, just get me out of here!"
She was very lucky and apparently was wearing her seatbelt. I'm sure it saved her life. She ended up with a sore elbow and no shoes but other than that, she was fine. So we waited a few minutes, made sure she was fine, meanwhile a boatload of people had stopped to help out and called the F.D. So we begged our leave and headed on down the road. All's well that ends well.
Oh, and of course the dork that cut her off never even bothered to stop...........
We saw a boadload of flooding around St. Louis, Mo. and into Illinois and Indiana. Farmers fields flood for acres and acres. Ran into rain and wet snow too. So we are bringing the weather with us to Virginia tomorrow.
