Unfortunately all we got was this... hardly a rabbit. A lady had offered to let me detect her property just 3/4 of a mile from a large battle at Saylers creek. I had not been there yet and had no idea what to expect but thought I would take Butch and Pam and see what it consisted of.

It was a tough piece of property to detect; fallen trees, briar's, brambles and thick undergrowth. After about an hour or so of fighting thickets and finding very little of anything, I decided to take them to another place. Open pastures would be a welcome relief after that.
We went to Burkeville, a place dating back to 1740. We detected about three hours, and we all ended up with diddly squat.
So, the last day of Butch and Pam's stay, we struck out. But we still had fun, I'm sure Butch and Pam were actually tired of detecting after five straight days of it.
In the last picture, Butch seems to have struck up a friendship and conversation with a peer of equal intellect. We enjoyed having them visit and getting out kicking up some dirt. I'm sure Butch will post his side of the story when he gets home next week... That should be interesting and I'll probably need to hire a lawyer. But I've stated my side of the story and I'm sticking with it.
