We had a great time down there! The weather was good and Bev's dinner was the BEST! Charlie you sould be 500lbs by now with all that great food Bev cooks  Charlie took us to a beautiful old house to hunt. He said rumor has it that Lincoln stayed there when he passed through. Charlie wanted to swing the Explorer and he did very well for the first time. He snagged an Indian and some other goodies out from under Sr and I :nono: He could become real deadly with that machine :yikes: Sr pulled out a silver quarter, 71 cal. three ringer and some other goodies! I got a fired two? ringer, an old pistol bullet, silver ring and a neat old lead soldier. The ground was pretty quiet so I think it must have been detected before. I didn't get a shot of the back of the house but it was really cool looking with all the landscaping that had been done. We hit a couple other sites but the signals we not there(we already hunted them). We had a great time and only got lost a few times  I even got stopped in a park for going the wrong way down a one-way road  Here's a couple shots. I didn't get a picture of all the finds but I will try and get them up later. Thanks for letting us come down and hunt Charlie! and Bev your a great cook! ;) Hey Charlie.... Let me know when you get your new puter!

Too bad about the spot being hit. There are a lot more people out there swwinging the coil than I ever thought. I talked to my buddy from CT where I grew up. He asked his friend to hunt an area we knew cannonballs had been fired and there had been a big iron factory nearby. The guy said sure but it has been detected a lot. He said guys had come all the way from VA to search for cannonballs. Funny thing is we are always dreaming about going down south to find civil war relics.

but a nice CW bullet is always nice to find.

I am trying to send you a pic, but my worn out puter is just about shot( "server rejects sender")

Bev has the car packed and is pacing the floor, on our way to Nashville for a couple days.
