Well today was the first time out in the Mar for the Sea Hunter Mark II

Well today was the first time out in the Mar for the Sea Hunter Mark II, did ok and found a few euro but very cold out there right now.

I tried out the discrimination mode in standard which certainly seemed to knock out some of the smaller pieces of foil without knocking out coins, but it always makes me wonder just what else is being knocked out in the process, especially deeper stuff.

So question is, how much discrimination does everyone use...non and dig everything....up to 3 and miss some foil...more?

Thanks

Phil

You are very lucky. My first time out with my new Sea Hunter Mack II I didn't have the battery door and the headphones and coil sealed properly. It took me a day of good detecting to recover from that mess. I sure did learn a lot from the experience and will be sure to pay a lot better attention in the future. The detector is well designed so that even though the battery compartment was flooded there was no damage. I just cleaned it up and installed new batteries. Used some silicone and then went back out detecting. I am moving to Germany this summer and I cant wait to get down to Spain and do some detecting on the beaches and in the water down there!
