Went to the forest preserves and boy were the cecadas glad to see me!:clapping: They welcomed me..stuck to me...tried going in my shirt...Oh and that is the good news! Almost 3 hours in...only 34 coins and under $2 in clad....Did find 4 more golf balls!:ranting:

Youre 3 up on me.I managed only 1 golf ball yesterday. I did;however; get over $5.00 in clad. We had the cicadas here a couple yrs ago. You couldnt even hear yourself think. Every time I mowed my lawn;I was attacked. I always had five or six of them on me after I came in.

I am running into a lot of hard compacted clay/dry soil. I seem to be getting no depth at all! Today only 50 coins in 3 hours...So that gives me 84 coins in last 2 hunts...very disappointing...I have tried playing with pre amp and ac sens. no help....need some rain! Only rained maybe 1-2 days out of last 20 here....also I am sure heat is a factor.
