Today with the yard work all done I ran away from home with Bandido in hand as fast as my little Toyota could take me.
I had no idea where I would go detecting until I found myself near a familiar old park. Madcard1 called and asked if i was able to
escape and I told to join me with one of his many many detectors....I was glad to see he brought his SE cause the Bandido
doesn't like hanging around wimpy detectors. The park is a old one but due to drunks and jocks we were limited as to
where we could hunt. after about three hours detecting neither one of us finding anything really good. I was digging just about
everything just above the foil range hoping to out do my wife's garden find. ( Yesterday's post.) Mascard1 decided to call it a day
but I just had to give it a little more time.....So off goes Mascard1 in his hot rod leaving me and the Bandido alone.
About 5 minutes later just about the time I thought about leaving I got a strike worth digging. I found a nice littler 925 silver
band about six inches deep. Flipping the plug back into the hold I stood up and swung the coil over it and again another signal...
So I flipped open the plug again and gently probed the bottom of the hole and up pops another silver ring. Ha! It ain't gold but it's a
dang good save!
