Well this sucks.........

I guess no waterhunting in Lake Michigan for awhile. Good thing I just got an XLT......

Can't you go on the beach (sand )for some hunting ?

Yeah I prob can hunt the sand, but if you can't get in the water at all it will prob not be very productive, no new drops anyway. Unless I can find a spot in the river to hunt. It sucks but I do have my XLT so i can spend some time learning it good thing I got it the other day!

This might be a blessing in disguise, I may locate an even better spot to water hunt.

That does not look good !!
Hh

The sewage treatment facilities in many Michigan cities are stretched beyond capacity. All it takes is an above average rain total and they end up dumping partially treated waste into the lakes :rage:

On the "bright side" as long as you don't plan on swallowing the water you'll be fine.

It happens every summer in the "Water Wonderland" state.
Except back in the mid '90s when we didn't have a 'summer' one year.

... had you still been hunting in Alabama with the oil on the beach now. My son and his wife are about packed up and leaving Magnolia Springs either tomorrow afternoon or Monday. I'm going to miss going down there.

Wasn't that Stand Watie who's horse surrendered instead of 10 bears? At least they posted the beach and gave you fair warning. This too will pass.

Dont feal so bad the same thing just happend to 2 of the fresh water swiming areas i hit weekly.
Hopefully the rain from the huricane will fix that.:rage:
