WELL-the old hoof is in a cast now!!!...

...Bone Dr. put me in a cast to my knee for 4-6 weeks-He said if it wasnt done;surgery was the only fix-SO-I got me a pretty red cast on-off work for a month or so-AT LEAST my foot doesnt hurt anymore;but there goes my trip m/d ing to them state parks Thanksgiving weekend-I guess the goodies will be there next year;right???

I'm glad your not in so much pain, just sit back and relax and post messages here when you can and don't forget to keep the tv remote and food at arms reach. get well quick!!

Hey Jeff-never mind the square dancing-Playin 4 games of volleyball with teen-agers on Labor Day weekend is what got me in this cast in the first place-Imagine that;them young whipper-snappers being so hard on an old man-they tied my hands behind my back;and forced me to do it!!...

...buy some waders and hit some of them beaches up North Thanksgiving time...I still might wander out on some of them beaches;and do some dry detecting-problem is;my cast is open in the front;with my toes hanging out in the wind-Might get a little frosty;as I cant wear any socks-HEY-Maybe I can put an old pillow-case over my cast to keep my hoof warm and sand-free-Can ya imagine;Gettin SAND in there between my hoof and the cast??!!
