Took my lovely wife and hit the beach around 7:30 this morning for the 8:24 Low Tide.Again there were several Detectorist on the beach already and it was hot already also. I hit the surf first thing and my Excalibur went haywire.Think I have a short in it somewhere it did not like the water at all this morning.So I stayed up in the wet sand for a while and then went on up to the dry sand.I did not have much luck either place.I did see a couple nice tickets this morning.Here is a spin down the lane
The beach was pretty empty when we first got here but it did not take long before the people started showing up.

Stop and talked with Sarge for a spell and forgot to take a picture see this other guy down in the wet sand digging and this lady trys to see how close she can get to him

Too much skin, I'd say. A little less quantity and a lot more quality in the skin department, either that or try zooming out and not in.
Try checking the battery connection, it may need snugging up or even some diver's silicone grease. I had that problem a few months ago when a little bit of sand got into the connection.
