Well, the church site was pretty much a bust, but....

I stopped at an old home site on the way home and made up for it a little.
The church site had been cleaned out by some others. They did a pretty good job too. The place looked like a great spot when I pulled up to it. Big old lot with a school dated 1912. All I got outta the church lot was the rosie and about 4 wheaties. Oh well, ya never know. I did get the neat smooshed bottle cap with the train picture though.

At the old home site I got my Favorite coin to find. A 1924 S.L. Quarter!! Yahoo!! Love those coins. I could see through the dirt caked on the coin it was a S.L. but I waited til I got home and rinsed it under the sink to see the date because it looked like it was in pretty good shape. Was hoping for a 1916 but no go.

Got an Indian head too and a few older wheaties. Oldest was a 1911. The quarter made the day though.

Here is the haul before a cleaning.
