Well the Boy and I found $.26 today

His Fisher 1212X has plenty of depth and sensitivity but is comeing up short on discrimanation. It will kit hard on steel,Iron,Tin,Aluminum consistently 6-8 inch's down all day long. Now we are in a trashy school yard so we keep finding a bunch of junk. I think when we go again I am going to set his Disc to 8 or 10 since 4,5,6 seem to do next to nothing. I have to admit some tone id would be nice or the ability to completely notch iron,steel and tin right out!!! I guess you cannot get 1 knob simply though and get all that too. I am still waiting for my Bounty Hunter 8400 VLF/TR Discrim etc.... model to arive! If their is one thing I hate about Ebay it is that seldom do you get anyone that sells on Ebay that actualy run's their business like a business! If you are lucky some time that week they will put your stuff in the mail and then over charge you for the mail. I am kind of funny that way if I when on a Monday and you get paid on Monday via pay pal I expect you to get my package in the mail with in 24 hours of recieveing payment not 48 hours not 72 hours etc...... If you are going to do the once a week trip to the post office put it in your add description so people do not expect to have gotten it 4 days after they won! I have goten some things as quickly as the next day while other's are two weeks out etc......

I have had days where I have only found a couple pennies........;o)

I know what you mean about ebay. Usually when you buy something you can not wait to get it. If there is more than one person selling the same item I will read their feedback and look for comments like, fast shipping, etc. Then I will go with the person that has good feedback but also mentions fast shipping too. That ususally works out pretty good.

I normaly do the same in terms of looking for fast shipping in the feed back but never thought to mention fast shipping!!! Good idea I am going to keep that in mind. Well I was hopeing I would have my detector for the family reunion since I am not really the family reunion type! Plus it is my wifes side of the family and they bread like rabbitts so tehir always like 500 or more people and I never know any of them etc........ It would have been fun for me and the oldest boy to both have a detector for the trip. You wait and see it will arrive while I am up their for 4 days!!!

I have a friend that has a small business with ebay and he get's up at 6AM every day to make the daily trip to the post office. He tries very hard to run a tight ship but then he was in the Army and the Navy for a while and he has been in managment and owned his own store for a while. So he understands how to run a business in a professional manner. On the other hand I worked with a guy that used to try to run his ebay business from work and used to trie and use the mail room for his ebay stuff. It caught up with him sooner rather then latter and he was let go for stealing postage from the corperate FedX account. Two completly different ebay business's ran two completly different ways!

Oh and I was not complaining either about the $.26 I was excited. My twins which are 6 years old went with us and the one was so excited that we kept finding old bottle caps because he has a bottle cap collection! You would have thought we where find gold bar's every time we found a bottle cap!!!LOL
