I called the school where the young man graduated, within minutes I had his phone number. I called and got his father. Yes, his son lost his ring two days ago. I arranged to drive over with it.
Took the wife with me, we pulled up to a corner house with a handicapped ramp in the back.
Dad is in a wheel chair, and he said his son is handicapped. the boy was on a camping trip, so I didn't get to meet him.
He was really glad to get the ring back, it was their graduation gift to their son.The dad thanked me several times over.
I was glad I was able to return it.
NOW, there's this thing about if I do a good deed, the Water Gods will shower me with good finds?? WELL, it's been almost two years since I found any gold!! I'm ready for my good deed reward!! HH.

Good for you!
I am sure you will be rewarded for your kindness.

The thing is what goes around comes around but you just never know when that will be. You will be rewarded but it may not have anything to do with metal detecting either. You did a good thing and you will be rewarded. HH
