Was packing up my trusty Fisher 1280x for the trip to Mackinaw.Went to put batteries in her, noticed the + lead for the battery pack broke off,so I checked the - one, sure enough it pulled off easy too_On Saturday night, the night before our trip to Mackinaw.......A relatively easy fix, little bit of solder, right? We had wrong kind of solder,so I have to find a Radio Shack or similiar up north to get her back in business......That lead attachment for the battery pack is very poorly designed on this detector, this is the second or third time it has been replaced....
