Man was it hot today and the water temp in the lane was real warm. Got in a little over 2hrs. in the lane today

Ran into Spider, a new fellow, north bound, va beach ron , syfta john , but the first hunter I run into is one of the legends of va beach . Mr. Bobby Scott----------I have heard about his exploits for many many, but I have never had the pleasure until today. Nice meeting u bobby.

Some of his luck must have rubbed off, several feet away I snag this mood ring and 30mins or so later I snag this cool gold ladies band.------------va beach ron tells me he was looking for a ladies gold band and she was staying close by. From the way he described it--------------old Hollywood has found it---------------I called, but had to leave a message to see.

Fair amount of clad today and I did dig four older nickels------------not old old, but

Here is the spin

Good luck to everyone

I will revisit the surfgod on thur. after work again.

not get mine to stay in place using them, the white plastic material is tooooo slippery and slips around the area with the flatwasher.

just use one nut on the back and two on the front side and it works great

I would like to introduce myself as the new person in the photos above. I have been viewing your postings for a while now and have been very impressed with your findings. I have had a Whites MXT for a while, but missed having a detector that could work in the wet sand and water, so I just got myself an excalibur 800 and was trying it out last night.

Watching you work that metal detector over the beach was like watching a ballet. You really know how to cover the beach. No wonder you find the gold. I am still struggling with the waves pushing the detector around.

I would have chatted with you, but my detector was giving me some strange signals, and I didn't want to lose the target. (ended up just being false signals)

You had some very impressive finds for last night! I found some change, half a heart shaped locket that may be gold, and a small buddha.

I plan on being out at the beach a lot more this summer. I will be on vacation next week and staying down at the oceanfront with the intent of making it out to most of the low tides next week. Maybe I can get some pointers from the pros.

I am a local here, so the beach is only a short drive away!
