Went for a solo spin on 07/14 (my b-day btw), with the Excal, into a 959P -1.0L and W winds at 10-15. Was actually thinking to myself, that I had really never recovered a large diamond solitare. Really need to find 1 or 2, for a future pirate ring, that I have in mind for myself. I sure as heck ain't gunna pay for one!
Was in the water by 730P and targets were plentiful, at this location. I actually did some wetsanding and lane hunting too! Very rare for me to do such a thing! Total clad count was a staggering $8.46. Recovered 3) .925 hoop earrings, in various sizes. A large ferrous hoop, with rhinestones. A crown-looking toe or childs ring, that originally had a rubber security strap (non-ferrous junker) and a ferroous junk ring.

That may be a record, for the surf here, for me or at the very least top 5. I got a real fine low tone and out pops the fine 14K band!
I was really liken' that action. Was cruising the lane, VA beach style just to see what all the hoopla was about and got another low tone and saw this baby! It looked to be white gold and had a very large square diamond looking stone in it! I said here it is, finally and on my b-day too! I like it! Got it home and put the CZeckpoint on it and it's a CZ! Dang the bad luck! Oh well, at least it is 10K and I was mighty proud to see it. I baled at 1245A and I was SMILING!
