Went back to the 1851 house to search again today ( http://www.findmall.com/read.php?63,1666237,1666237#msg-1666237 )......Not NEARLY as productive as yesterday, but I did manage to find one silver.......a 1917 Walking Liberty Half. WOW! It is VERY rare that I have EVER found two half dollars at the same property in 38 years of detecting, excepting the caches I have found.

Anyway, today's hunt was as follows:

IH 1-1902

Wheats
1913
1920
1936
1940
2-1944

Nickels
1904 V
Unreadable Buffalo
1949
1956
1991

Half Dollar
1917

Along with that, I found this little rectangular piece of brass that has a pin on the top, and a hole on the bottom of an axis, obviousy meant to spin. I have seen that before, but don't recall what it is off of.

So, this is a VERY productive site for me, having found 10 silvers, including 2 halves, 3 IH, 2 V's, early wheats, buffaloes, SLQ, Barber dime, Merc, and Barber Half. OMG, I am going back there some more!!!

HH to all.

Dennis, reporting from Bastrop, Texas....ready to return home soon.......I am one tired fellow.......
