Well my medical test went off without a hitch and the doc didn't find anything growing in there that wasn't supposed to be there. Got some lovely pic

I'd post em but don't think anyone wants a guided tour of my insides. HA. Got to have another test Tuesday to determine why my esophagus goes nuts and spasms constantly so I can't eat. I'm down to 125 pounds right now from being unable to eat or keep food down. It's a real pizzer believe me. I look like an attraction at a freak show. HA. 125 pounds on a six-one frame don't leave much except skin draped over bones. I hope this specialist fixes me soon or I may just dry up and blow away.

We're pulling for you. I hope you can get some good grub down. We need you around here to whip us into shape! Take care.

I feel for you Bill. I went through a big bunch of that earlier this year. I am going back first thing in the morning for another check.

The joys of old age. :)

Good Luck

Hey Bill.....don't be shy..."POST THEM" nobody will ever know that's is really you. I'm glad everything
went well. That's a lot of peace of mind, which we all could get a lot more of these days.

Cancer cannot live in an acidic body. Look into ( i know this sounds weird) baking soda and maple syrup.

Bill, I was at 118 lbs, and losing about 4 lbs a week, back in 1997. 7 doctors; no diagnosis. I had just got my 1st computer, and was spending my days sitting in front of it, wondering what is wrong. I stumbled across something from a specialist at the Mayo Clinic, about celiac disease. Didn't know what that was. Kept reading, and learned that it is the inability to digest gluten. What's more, the undigested protein gets through the mucosal lining of the intestines, into the bloodstream, and causes many different problems. I went on a gluten-free diet, and within 3 days, I knew. From 1/1/1998 to 7/4/1998, my weight went from 118 to 185, and I became symptom-free almost immediately.

Have you been tested for this? Intestinal biopsy is the normal test of authority, but with false negatives, I'm sitting here wondering how you would do on a 100% gluten-free diet. Don't know if this could be helpful to you, but it cannot hurt you either way. It was my salvation, and I've been totally GF since then. PM or email if you want more info.

Sounds like you went through hell. Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out with the doc and see what he says. My basic problem is that I just can't eat. Can't swallow food and some liquids or keep them down. I swallow and my esophagus spasms and just shoots it back up and out.

Yeah my weight after I retired was 170-190. When I was still working and had some muscle my weight hovered around 215. In 2008 I had peripheral bypass surgery and I lost 35 pounds in the hospital and was never able to gain it all back and then this esophagus crap crept up on me and done a number on me.

Did you have the same problem or something similar?

Bill
Bill, not sure if that question was for me, but yes; what was often called acid reflux (but is wasn't from eating acidic foods); irritable bowel syndrome (you could say that... had chronic diarrhea punctuated with bouts of constipation; of course anemia, dehydration, and bouts of depression. That's just for starters.I had these symptoms for many years, and have been told by more than one practicioner of medicine that there was nothing wrong with me.

You could do a googl search of gluten intolerance symptoms or celiac symptoms, and come up with enough reading material to fill your day. Whatever it is, I pray they will find it and that you'll soon be back on the road to good health.

Ive been watching this thing entitled The Road to Perfect Health ....Brenda Watson .....Very interesting .....All about you gut and Probiotics .....Worth looking into .... Glad all is well ...Jim

Bill: I am a retired Paramedic, worked 50 years in Hospital and on ambulances, what you are describing sounds like severe celtic disease or internal yeast infection, frequently the celtic disease causes the internal yeast and both will be present. Celtic disease sad to say is something many doctors know little about,so it is one of the last things that they look for. Your symptoms fit severe gluten intollerance, Google celtic disease see what you think.

Steve, I think you are talking about Celiac Disease, aren't you? That's what I have, and had suggested that Bill check into. That's the gluten-intolerance thing.
