and parts of the manual looks like I wrote it verbatum. Came with earphones, pouch, trowel, dust cover, and a big, thick manual in Mexican and English. Nice little package and all set to go.

Dad just brought mine to the bus :thumbup: I was over visiting today, and told him we NEEDED to get-out and do some hunting! Now he can use my 250. I gave him my Vmax PP today since I bought a new Garrett ProPointer a month or so back. Looking forward to getting the 350 out for some swingin', and look more forward to getting dad to make some time to go too! He was really into MDing back in the 70's & 80's, but hasn't been "seriously" for decades. He still has an old Garrett CoinMaster, and Fisher 1265-X (but for some reason felt the need to recently purchase some off-brand "piece" from one of those places that sells every type of junk imaginable......which even had the gall to claim that MD "retailed for over $500 :blink: (I wouldn't have paid $25 for it);

I was also pleasantly surprised with the extra goodies packed with the 350! Mine shipped Tuesday, and got it today (under $300 shipped) :poke:

What I'm looking for in a new detector is #1 fast recovery speed #2 depth on coin sized targets to around 10-12 inches. Seems like that's where all the new detectors are finding targets. Detecting depth of 8 inches is deep for older technology. Just isn't up to snuff these day's . But I know that target's are not always deep. But the older places I hunt I know have good stuff yet just deeper then I can go with the detector I have now. Been Waiting for some new Garrett's to come out.The other detector manufacturer's have deep searching detectors but all of them are unstable most of the time. So we'll see how the ace 350 and AT do in the field.

The AT should go deep enough for you. And who knows, Garrett may have something else up their sleeve to surprise us with.
