9 of those babys and drank three glasses of skim milk, it's alot of work fixing Taco's but well worth it at the end plus the skim milk tops it off, I was gonna eat all 12 Taco's but like the thinking man that I am I decided to save three for tonight and snack on them before dinner ;)

Man I love to cook, love to try different stuff, hey, before you slam my eating just remember this, I came into this world hungry and skinny and spent most of my early years skinny and weak , I ain't going out that way, I'm just trying to catch up, man I love the smell of Garlic when I come home from a hard day at work

Tonight I fixed tomorrows nights dinner useing the slow cooker, if you don't have a slow cooker you are missing out, slow cooker's were made for the working man or women or even married people, it amazes me how many folks here in Slamabama don't have one :look: The point of a slow cooker is to set it in the morning and come home at night and your home cooked meal is waiting for you, must be a Yankee thing I guess

I took a full sweet onion and dice it up, grab a frying pan and set the stove to med, drop in a tablespoon of cooking oil, dropped a half of cup of oninios into the oil, sprinkle garlic powder over it then toss in 4 boneless pork chops just to brown on both sides, then toss the 4 pork chops into the slow cooker that was full of, you guessed it, Glory Butter Beans with the rest of the sweet oninion, then dropped 4 more pork chops into the hot pan to brown, then put them in the slow cooker also, man, like Elson says, life is good

I put the slow cooker in the fig for the night and when I wake in the morning I will pull it from the fig and set it on slow cook then go to work, when I come home tomorrow night my home will smell like Butter Beans and Garlic

It don't get any better then that folks, wait till I start grilling, man ole man

suppose to be good at chicken, truth be told my mother made the best fryed chicken I ever eat., I have yet to taste good fryed chicken in six months living here. They say the south is the land of fryed chicken, I don't think so, heck, we cook better chicken up north on the grill, maybe I'm in the wrong spot but one thing is forsure, I have yet to find that real good breaded fryed chicken, it's not here, at least I have not found it in six months, like Craig says, it all tast like chicken even tho it is not chicken :beers:

I make Fried Chicken about once a month in the winter. I've got a counter-top deep fryer, although you can use a Dutch Oven and a deep-fat thermometer. Here's my recipe:

There’s nothing like some good Fried Chicken. I usually use chicken legs, as they’re dirt cheap and the kids love them.
I used to always think that this was just a marinade, but I’ve recently realized that this is more of a brine, and the salt helps to transport the flavors and extra moisture into the flesh of the chicken. Keep in mind that if you use buttermilk, or marinate for 6 hours or longer, you will want to cut down on the amounts of seasoning used with the flour, as the resulting chicken will be to salty.

12 pieces of chicken
For the marinade:
3 eggs
