I only had a 4 hour window on Tuesday morning to hunt(5 to 9 AM). I took my (new) used CZ 7 A PRO and never had it on the beach before, next time I will take my CZ20 (more use to it in salt water)and get out a little deeper.Wanted to get out this morning for a little, but the wife didn't like the THUNDER,lightining and said NO!!!! I'd like to thank Mike from VA Beach for his tips.Only seen 2 other guys out there.Anyway it was FUN!!!!!!H/H JOE in MD
PS Wife and duaghter like the Butterfly pin(looks like that's gone)LOL

Looks like you did pretty good out there for a first time VB hunter. Looks like the CZ was pulling quite a few deep one there, so you probably didn't miss much. Of course you had everything notched in, right? Or at least everything but iron, right? Sorry I had to work today or I would have tried to get out there with you. Maybe next time.

i will run up with you..............

just look for fat guy dragging grave digger scoop with bright yellow shaft rig near or in the surf.

hope to run up with u

Your on the money Mike, everything but iron, I think the butterfly pin might be old,it was WAY down(10 plus inches). Started out rough, I could not ground balance right than the pin pointing went out. played around with the headphones, found out stereo switch was on MONO after that I started to roll. next time the CZ20 so I can get out a little more. Surf down there MUCH different then up here in OC. some coins were down at lease 8 to 10 inches. sand scoop held up pretty good, got to do a few adjustments to it. H/H JOE in MD

I might let Pat fend for himself for dinner and circle down there.

Yeah, I find a lot of deep stuff here too. In fact, I recently cashed in about $40 in clad at the local Coin$tar machine and as usual it kicked back a buck or so worth of coins. Two of them were quarters, '65 and '66...not sure why, because they weren't that bad. Another was a '62 silver dime. We rarely get any silver down there, except after a storm. Due to the fact there's been about a bazillion tons of sand brought in there.
