I have three Tesoros - Outlaw, Compadre (rationale -for the kid), Silver uMax (rationale-for the wife). I actually put my Outlaw up for sale because I was having really good success with the Silver uMax and the Outlaw didnt seem to give me much more than it in terms of coin shooting performance. The sale was supposed to pay for my recently purchased Fisher F5 (gotta try other flavors, right?). But as I keep seeing all of the success and applications of the Outlaw I have decided that I would regret selling it in the not-too-distant future. So I will be relic hunting with it next week in a few Nevada ghost towns and mining camps. I cant imagine having a better machine for that type of hunting.

I promised not to become a detector collector, but I now have four machines and have only been in this hobby for three months!

Im screwed.

Tesoro detectors are addictive.

Welcome to the club. My first comment to newbies is this hobby can be very addictive.

Mojo.........I know exactly what you mean

....I just sold a nice big box Bandido ll to a forum member, he ran into some financial problems and I bought it back from him for the same price. I now have my Bandido collection complete again, orig. Bandido, Bandido ll and Bandido ll

I have 2 Tesoros, and F2, an old Compass and even a Bounty Hunter that is a closet dweller.
I am currently playing around with a borrowed new 8" coil Compadre.
Thinking hard about adding an F75 to the herd.
I will never sell any of them...they all have their uses at specific sites.
I am not an addict...just a fan.

I am in a badd way , money wise, and i may have to sell one of my machines, its going to be the blisstool not the outlaw,

Worse part is there is no know cure,it will aflick your life until the day you can no long get out and swing! you might has well resign your self to the fact. You will lie and cheat and steal or do anything to get yourself another detector, its a sad state of affairs. Our hopes and prayers go out to you.To be forever shunned by your un understanding peers, and be given strange looks by passser buys who see you out in the field. I feel for you ..... sniff sniff UGGGGGH!:nopity::drool::nono::rofl:

a couple week ago I bought a Compadre from a man that had 26 detectors. I think he is addicted as well to this great hobby. lol

Nice on the Fisher F5 Mojo... How well does she do for coin shooting? We spoke alot in the past about the F2 and I imagine the F5 with more bells and whistles must be great. As for the Outlaw, amazing RELIC machine indeed.

In a bad way huh? Well, how about A "let's help Gunnar Out" fund? C'mon guys, he makes some pretty cool videos for us, that's gotta be worth something. Heck, if 40 of us all pledge $20, that's $800 bucks to help one in need. I pledge the first $20...

You and the Outlaw make a great team. Your fantastic videos show what the Outlaw is capable of doing. The manual doesn't come close. Many thanks

So far, so good Idxpro. Still getting into the flow of things with the F5. Tomorrow I am going out with the Outlaw and the F5 to do a live hunt comparison for depth and discrimination. I doubt I'll be able to do much video, trying to handle two machines, but I will post what I get here and perhaps on the Fisher Forum page.

Symptom denotes there is a problem or sickness..
Don't see any problem here...wait, let me check it again....
Nope, not a problem in sight! :heh:
