Well, It's A Sad Day...I'm Afraid It's Over

After nine straight hunts with gold in my scoop...sometimes multiple goldgasms even...my tenth hunt has yielded me NO GOLD. In a way I'm relieved...no more pressure now.

But it wasn't for lack of trying. As my skanky clad will attest, the Excalibur was reaching down deep and touching some old stuff. Many were well over a foot deep and I even got quarters dated '65, '67, and '68. And a Canadian dollar that was 18" deep if it was an inch. It was pretty well tarnished but I polished it up with some Nev-R-Dull polish and it actually looks like gold now. I'm afraid I can't count that though. Just tell me it's not going to be nine hunts WITHOUT gold now. :?:

That yellow stuff sure can make a long hunt easier to handle. There is always tomerrow to add to your collection.
LTT.
