Well it started out a nice day for Bean and Me until I ended up getting busted :cam:

Like I said, it was a great day to be out detecting today so I took Ray to one of my "hunted out" areas. :D Ray liked the stream that ran by the place I parked the truck and here is a pic I snapped of him :D

Now as you probably noticed its still hunting season but we were wearing our orange and I didn't see any evidence of anyone hunting anywhere remotely close by us. We worked our way through the woods and picked up a few wheaties as usual. Ray ended the day with 5 and I had 12 :clapping:

I finally got a weird sound and it jumped around and had that silver sound but it registered as a penny so I dug it :D It was only about 2 inches down when I pulled the plug and thats when out of no where I got busted :D

Here's the silver in the hole  Looks like a very worn Merc :super:

my oldest coin so far is a 1851 dime, was going archery deer hunting, took my detector along, and found it at an old house site, I forgot about deer hunting after the find. Way to go.:clap:

Let every one know that Craig's Father gave him that coin the same years it was minted---Craig is so tight he held on to it all these years---I can tell by the way he looks (Wrinkled) that You told me the Truth about Craig---The only one who looks older is Me or the dune buggy man !

That find is a "heart-stopper" for sure!
